HONEYMOON IN PARIS: A ROMANTIC TWO-HOUR MORNING PHOTOSHOOT WITH MERVE & KEMAL

"Paris is always a good idea." Audrey Hepburn's timeless quote has inspired generations of travellers, and it's easy to understand why. For couples looking for the perfect honeymoon destination in Europe, Paris offers everything: iconic landmarks, elegant architecture, charming cafés and an atmosphere unlike anywhere else in the world.

When Merve and Kemal got married in Belgium, they knew exactly where they wanted to celebrate the beginning of their new life together. Rather than taking traditional honeymoon snapshots, they chose a private honeymoon photoshoot in Paris—a chance to create timeless memories in one of the world's most romantic cities. Their dream was simple: a romantic couple photoshoot featuring two of Paris's most iconic locations—the Eiffel Tower and the magnificent Louvre Pyramid.

A Winter Morning in Paris

We met just before 8:00 AM in the peaceful courtyard of the Louvre. November mornings in Paris are cold, with temperatures barely reaching 3°C (37°F). The trees had almost lost their last autumn leaves, the sky was softly grey, and the city was still waking up. As a Paris photographer, these quiet moments are some of my favourites. The streets are almost empty, the light is beautifully soft, and the atmosphere feels calm and intimate—perfect for a romantic Paris photoshoot. Standing there, waiting for my couple, I wondered whether the cold would affect the session.

Then Merve appeared. Wearing an elegant white bridal dress, she walked gracefully across the Louvre courtyard, followed by Kemal just a few moments later. Suddenly, the cold disappeared. The city seemed brighter, and my only focus became capturing every smile, every glance and every emotion shared between two people who had just promised each other forever.

From the Louvre to the Eiffel Tower

Our two-hour Paris photography experience began beneath the elegant arches of the Louvre before continuing through some of the city's most beautiful streets. The Louvre Pyramid created a modern yet timeless backdrop, while the quiet courtyards surrounding the museum offered intimate moments away from the crowds. Later, we made our way to the Eiffel Tower, where the morning light gently illuminated one of the world's most iconic landmarks. Rather than creating heavily posed images, I guided Merve and Kemal naturally throughout the session.
We walked, laughed, talked and simply enjoyed the moment. This relaxed approach allowed me to capture authentic emotions, genuine laughter and beautiful candid photographs that truly reflected their personalities.
For me, a honeymoon photoshoot in Paris is about much more than beautiful pictures. It's about preserving the excitement, happiness and connection that make the first days of marriage so unforgettable.

A Few Words from Merve & Kemal

"We had a wonderful experience with Paulette in Paris. We travelled to Paris for an after-wedding photoshoot, and we're so happy we did. The photographs were beautiful, natural and incredibly professional. We would definitely recommend this experience to anyone looking for a photographer in Paris."
